Bad Langensalza is a spa town in Thuringia. Due to its special market rights – it was a Waidstadt – the town was very prosperous in the Middle Ages. This is evident in the magnificent historic old town, the third largest in Thuringia. As a spa town, Bad Langensalza is also known for its parks and gardens.
