Coat of Arms of Schillingsfürst

Schillingsfürst is a city in Middle Franconia. It first was mentioned in the year 1000, and from around 1300 belonged to the Hohenlohe family. From 1792 an infantry regiment was based in the town, which is considered to be the origin of the French Foreign Legion. The Princely Falkenhof is well worth seeing.
