Coat of Arms of Aschaffenburg

Aschaffenburg is a Bavarian city in Lower Franconia and part of the metropolitan area Frankfurt/Rhine Maine. Due to its mild climate, the city is sometimes labeled the Bavarian Nice. Well worth seeing are the Pompejanum, the replica of a Roman mansion built by Ludwig I of Bavaria, and Schloss Johannisburg.
