Gerolzhofen is a small town in Lower Franconia at the northwestern borders of the Steigerwald. The city is known for its fortifications with double surrounding walls and many towers. The local catholic church with its two “Julius-Towers” is also known as Steigerwalddom (Cathedral of the Steigerwald).
