Capital Berlin

Berlin is the capital of Germany as well as a federal state (Bundesland). Today completely enclosed by the state of Brandenburg, the city was divided into east and west by the Berlin Wall from 1945 to 1990. The city is the most populous in the European Union and the largest municipality in Germany.
