Hofheim

Coat of Arms of Hofheim

Hofheim is a picturesque half-timbered town in the Haßberge mountains in Lower Franconia. Around the year 800, the place was already a Carolingian administrative centre and a transport hub with its own fortifications, of which three gatehouses still exist. The nearby Renaissance Castle Eichelsdorf is also worth seeing.
