Bad Königshofen is a small town in the north of Bavaria. The town was a Carolingian royal estate, then the site of a castle by the Hennebergs and later a palace owned by the Prince-Bishopric of Würzburg. Today, the town is known for its table tennis team, which plays in the national table tennis league.
