Creglingen is a city in the Tauber Valley in Baden-Württemberg very close to Bavaria. It is well-known for the church Herrgotts­kirche which contains the Altar of Mary by Tilman Riemen­schneider that is considered a late-Gothic masterwork and his greatest creation. Creglingen is a stop at the Romantic Road.
