Jerusalem District

Jerusalem District is one of six administrative districts of Israel. It's the largest district in terms of population and encompasses Jerusalem, the capital city, and includes the town of Beit Shemesh. Established in 1948, the district contains significant religious and historical sites and covers 652 square kilometres.
