Wissembourg is a former free imperial city in the Alsace, located directly at the border with Germany. The town has a well-preserved town fortification and a beautiful old town. Buildings worth seeing include the Maison du sel, the town hall, the “Maison de l'ami Fritz” and the Maison Vogelsberger.
