Verona is a city in the Veneto region in Italy. Its main sight, the Verona Arena, a Roman amphitheatre, was completed around 30 AD and is the third-largest in Italy. The city is also known as the setting of Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare. Verona’s historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
