Vatican City

The coat of arms of Vatican City

Vatican City is a city-state and is an enclave in the city of Rome. With an area of less than half a square kilometre and a population of 825, it is the world’s smallest country. Home to the St. Peter’s Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and the Apostolic Palace, the whole country is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
